Test Engineer - Electrical Systems

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test procedures and protocols
• Execute functional and electrical testing on products and components
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve product issues
• Analyze test data and identify trends, issues, and root causes
• Support troubleshooting, failure analysis, and relay protection testing
• Provide technical support and demonstrations during Factory Witness Testing (FWT)
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain accurate documentation

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in testing, engineering, or a related field
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and testing methods
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
• Experience with automated test systems such as LabVIEW, Python, or NI
• Familiarity with PLC systems or embedded systems testing
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E safety standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with lean or Six Sigma methodologies
• Background in high-reliability industries such as aerospace, defense, or medical devices
