Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct and document testing of modules and products
• Perform incoming inspection and quality control
• Integrate and assemble Eidel’s systems
• Support serial production and development projects
• Install products and systems at customer sites and deliver user training
• Register and handle deviations and non-conformances
• Provide customer support and follow-up on service and maintenance contracts

Requirements

• Technical background, preferably in electronics
• Vocational certificate or higher education in electronics, cybernetics, or automation
• Practical, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
• Experience with production testing
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Fluency in English and Norwegian (or another Scandinavian language)
• Norwegian citizenship and eligibility for Norwegian security clearance (SECRET / NATO SECRET)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with measuring equipment like oscilloscopes and multimeters
• Experience with Python
• Knowledge of serial communication and networking
• Experience with environmental testing
• Soldering skills and familiarity with IPC standards
