Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and execute automated test scripts for web-based applications using Selenium WebDriver with Java
• Develop and maintain hybrid automation frameworks incorporating method-driven, data-driven, and Page Object Model (POM) approaches
• Validate Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) functionality through structured functional and regression testing
• Apply SDLC and STLC practices within Agile delivery models to ensure consistent test coverage and defect traceability
• Create and execute TestNG-based test suites using annotations and assertions to support unit and regression testing
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including requirement discussions, sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with business users and cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, report defects, and demonstrate tested functionality

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software testing
• Proven experience creating automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java
• Hands-on application of Opkey for test automation
• Experience performing testing on Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and Agile testing methodologies
• Proficiency with the TestNG framework for unit and regression testing
• Experience developing hybrid Selenium automation frameworks, including method-driven, data-driven, and Page Object Model (POM) designs

Preferred Qualifications

• Utilization of Maven as a project build and dependency management tool
• Exposure to continuous learning and rapid adoption of new tools and technologies
