Test Engineer - Charging

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and conduct charging tests to ensure communication between EV and EVSE for multiple AC & DC charging standards
• Work with high-voltage systems in vehicles
• Test and validate charging functions in software and hardware networks for electric vehicles (BEV, PHEV)
• Analyze test results and report to customers
• Create and adapt CAN bus simulations

Requirements

• Degree in electronics, electrical engineering, telecommunications, or a comparable field
• At least two years of professional experience in testing, ideally in the electromobility industry
• Proficient use of test tools such as CANape, CANoe, Wireshark, ODIS, iDEX, and CP-Tool
• Basic programming knowledge in Python, C++, and CAPL
• Very good German skills and good English skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of charging standards CCS, CHAdeMO, and GBT
• Knowledge of ASPICE Level 3 and functional safety according to ISO 26262
• High voltage level 3E certification
• Class B driver's license
