Test Engineer - Automation & Manual Testing

Responsibilities

• Create, execute, and maintain test cases for IP-based networks, IP audio/video recorders, and embedded Linux systems
• Perform manual and automated testing using a Python and pytest-based framework
• Develop and expand basic test automation scripts using Python and Shell
• Set up and configure hardware and software test environments
• Reproduce and analyze customer issues, including multimedia and video scenarios
• Document test results, create reports, and track defects
• Collaborate closely with development, product management, and engineering teams

Requirements

• Degree in IT, Communication Technology, or a related field
• 0–2 years of experience in software testing or test automation
• Fundamental understanding of software testing principles
• Initial experience in Python programming (pytest knowledge is an advantage)
• Strong analytical thinking skills and a quality-oriented mindset
• Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites
• Ability to work onsite (remote/home office is not possible)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of IP networks
• Experience with Embedded Linux
• Proficiency with Shell scripting
