Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Supervise and optimize the performance of production test systems to meet KPIs, including availability, quality index, and throughput.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and Kaizen efforts focused on test maintenance and factory operations.
• Oversee and audit preventive and corrective maintenance protocols to ensure system reliability and regulatory compliance.
• Document and share best practices and lessons learned through Yokoten initiatives to support organizational learning.
• Mentor and train junior team members to foster a culture of technical excellence.
• Coordinate plant resources, including test technicians and shopfloor personnel, to achieve operational objectives.
• Provide technical feedback to industrialization and expert teams regarding test system architecture and improvement opportunities.
• Participate in and lead innovation initiatives in manufacturing technologies.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in automotive electronic manufacturing.
• Expertise in debugging and developing test sequences using NI TestStand and Keysight TestExec.
• Experience with Labwindows/CVI for test sequence development and debugging.
• Proven track record in implementing Lean & Six Sigma projects.
• Proficiency in using version control systems for test applications.
• Knowledge of Core Tools and maintenance planning for test systems.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
