Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the testing and analysis of generators, light towers, and energy storage systems (ESS) for global and local markets.
• Support testing of prototype machines, components, and systems in collaboration with laboratory technicians.
• Provide efficient test solutions for new technology qualification and project development.
• Perform troubleshooting for production or field machines to ensure "first time right" quality.
• Manage engineering laboratory activities, including 6S management of assembly areas and maintenance of testing equipment.
• Coach laboratory technicians on specific testing tasks and procedures.
• Contribute to cost reduction and localization projects for existing products.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Battery, Engine, Light Tower, or Electrical engineering design and testing.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Information Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in at least one controller type (e.g., PLC or DSP) and programming languages such as ST, C, C#, or Java.
• Strong understanding of communication protocols including Modbus, CAN, Harting, or Profibus.
• Fluency in Mandarin (native level) and good command of English (oral and written).
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with DEEPSEA or DEIF controllers.
• Experience in data acquisition and analysis (measuring voltage, current, power, temperature, engine speed, pressure, etc.).
• Practical experience with noise and vibration testing.
