Test Engineer 2

Responsibilities

• Develop and document test plans and test cases for hardware and software products based on product specifications
• Collaborate with designers and technologists to determine test requirements and develop specialized test tools
• Manage daily execution of test plans, providing guidance to internal technicians or third-party test facilities
• Report test execution progress and manage technical issues from creation through to closure
• Work closely with Development teams to resolve product issues discovered during the testing process
• Execute test automation scripts and identify opportunities to increase the use of automation within the workflow
• Develop risk management plans to determine technical and logistical risks to test activities

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of related experience in test engineering or a similar technical role
• Strong understanding of hardware and software system architecture and their interactions
• Proficiency in reading and understanding technical data sheets
• Enthusiastic about learning new tools, programming languages, and operating systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
