Responsibilities

• Support improvement and new capability projects on proprietary battery cycling test stands
• Develop new methodology and verification suites for controlling product scale test vehicles
• Support advanced cell and test system troubleshooting, RCAs, and Gage R&R
• Verify reliability of battery test metadata to ensure consistent performance
• Write and release battery test protocols using in-house test software
• Own the review process of Form test protocols

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in energy storage systems test engineering or development engineering
• BS degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or equivalent industry experience
• Working experience with transport phenomena or mass flow measurement systems
• Knowledge of battery test methods and devices/sensors
• Proficiency in Python scripting, SQL, and writing advanced battery test scripts
• High laboratory safety standards
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
