Test Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define test methods, specify suitable test equipment, and automate test systems
• Perform manual testing and debug of complex high speed SERDES including PCIe Gen 6 and 112/224Gb PAM4 ethernet
• Design and develop graphical user interfaces for controlling products in a test environment
• Develop test systems for Machine Learning Accelerator products at system and board level
• Transfer preproduction test system knowledge to the production test team
• Perform test coverage analysis and improvement
• Maintain and develop characterisation systems
• Automate tests using Python or LabView

Requirements

• Experience in development and automation of test systems for complex electronic systems
• Proficiency with Ethernet and/or PCIe
• Fluency in test scripting languages including Python and LabView
• Strong project planning skills
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with LPDDR or HBM interfaces
• Knowledge of high current fast transients power supplies
• Knowledge of Linux and Bash scripting
• Previous experience in server verification
• Understanding of PCBA production test methods such as ICT and SLT
• Experience in data analysis
