Test Center Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Pearson VUE professional testing center in Guildford
• Act as line manager for test center staff, overseeing training, performance, and absence management
• Ensure strict adherence to Pearson VUE security protocols and compliance standards
• Coordinate staffing schedules and maintain accurate site administration and documentation
• Provide high-level customer service to candidates, ensuring their needs are met with respect
• Oversee equipment functionality, inventory levels, and site security
• Serve as the local point of contact for building management, vendors, and deliveries
• Monitor technical logs and work with support staff to resolve any software or hardware issues

Requirements

• Proven experience in a customer-facing role
• Experience coordinating and administering team activities
• Strong administration, reporting, and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows applications
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively under pressure
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends

• Previous experience working within a professional testing environment
