Test & Balance Foreman

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee dedicated TAB projects from planning through completion
• Establish a positive project culture built on teamwork, accountability, and safety
• Plan daily work activities, coordinate schedules, and assign resources
• Perform advanced testing, adjusting, and balancing of HVAC systems
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot performance, and implement field adjustments
• Partner with Project Managers to communicate manpower needs and project risks
• Support and coach Lead Journeymen through technical troubleshooting and training

Requirements

• Extensive experience testing, adjusting, and balancing commercial HVAC systems
• Strong knowledge of HVAC system operation, controls, and commissioning
• Experience leading field teams on complex commercial or healthcare projects
• Ability to obtain NEBB Certified Professional (CP) certification within one year
• Ability to lift and carry testing equipment up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work from ladders, lifts, and rooftops

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in TABB Supervisor, Smoke Control, or IAQ Supervisor certifications
• Experience with Sound & Vibration, Fume Hood, or Clean Room certifications
