Test Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure testability
• Design and execute test cases covering functional, integration, regression, and edge-case scenarios
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover unexpected issues and workflow gaps
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts
• Build and maintain automated end-to-end tests using Playwright
• Validate fixes and perform regression testing before releases

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance/Test Automation
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
• Strong manual testing and defect investigation skills
• Hands-on experience with Playwright or equivalent UI test automation frameworks
• Experience working with web-based business applications
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing .NET applications
• Familiarity with SQL and database validation
• Experience testing APIs using Postman
• Experience with Jira and Azure DevOps
• Experience in ERP, warehouse, fulfillment, or inventory systems
