Test Automation Engineer

About the Company

Within Delta Intelligent Building Technologies (Delta IBT), we develop and produce the next generation of integrated solutions for building automation, lighting, and security in Vienna under the LOYTEC brand. Our automation solutions use graphical user interfaces, open communication protocols, and follow international standards to realize sustainable, energy-saving networked buildings.

Responsibilities

• Visual inspection of printed circuit boards and injection-molded parts
• Cutting and separating of PCBs
• Performing electronic tests on standardized testing equipment
• Programming assemblies and troubleshooting according to circuit diagrams
• Performing minor repairs through manual soldering and documenting repairs
• Assembly of electronic and mechanical assemblies for approximately 250 different products

Requirements

• Completed apprenticeship (e.g., Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, Electrical Information Technician, or Radio and TV Technician) or professional experience in electronics manufacturing
• Good ESD, SMD, and soldering skills
• Basic user knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Strong team orientation and physical resilience
• Interest in further training for new technologies
• German or English language skills
