Test Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain and deploy automation services, ensuring stability and reliability across environments
• Investigate and resolve failures in automated flows through root cause analysis
• Extend proof-of-concept (POC) code into robust services and perform ongoing sanity testing
• Collaborate with users to capture, analyse, and resolve issues encountered during UAT
• Develop and maintain comprehensive FAQ documentation for common issues
• Monitor and track the performance of tool releases to ensure service quality
• Work closely with the test engineering team to drive automation best practices

Requirements

• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience with cloud hosting platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Proven ability to maintain and troubleshoot automated testing solutions
• Knowledge of payments processes or investment banking business flows
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environment
• Familiarity with automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience building user-facing documentation and FAQs
• Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
