Test and Validation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test cases to validate automotive ECUs and subsystems on HIL platforms
• Execute validation campaigns to ensure compliance with system requirements and specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with HIL benches
• Update simulation models and test scenarios to reflect evolving system requirements
• Develop automated test scripts using Python, CAPL, or MATLAB
• Integrate test cases into CI/CD pipelines
• Analyze test results to identify software or hardware performance issues
• Provide detailed test reports including coverage and defect trends
• Validate communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet
• Ensure compliance with automotive standards like ISO 26262 and ASPICE

Requirements

• Master’s degree in embedded systems
• Experience in test and validation on HIL benches
• Knowledge of automotive functionalities
• Hands-on experience with dSPACE, Vector CANoe, NI VeriStand, or ETAS
• Proficiency in CAN, LIN, UDS, and FlexRay protocols
• Strong scripting skills in Python, CAPL, or MATLAB/Simulink
• Familiarity with vehicle electrical/electronic systems (sensors, actuators, ECUs)
• Experience developing and executing validation test plans
• Strong English communication skills
