About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead optical engine and system module assembly with automation and tooling designs to increase yield and reduce cost
- Support device packaging RnD and NPI with mechanical design, drawing, and thermal modelling
- Work with OSATs to support NPI and volume production contract manufacture with technical SOW drafting
Requirements
- Mechanical engineering degree with experience in optical module or Lidar assembly
- Master or Ph.D. with 3 years of relevant experience
- Expertise in SolidWorks, mechanical simulation, and thermal simulation
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Silicon Photonics or PCBA
- Experience with FMEA, failure analysis, and 8D reports
- Experience in supplier quality management
