Test and Measurement Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop in-house Data Acquisition Systems (DAS) and Universal Monitor and Control Systems (UMACS)
• Interface UMACS with external devices, including in-house data systems and Allen-Bradley PLCs
• Provide technical support for Gas Turbine and Component Test Stands
• Apply technical principles and theories to develop solutions for complex testing problems
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment
• Represent the company to external stakeholders as a technical authority for test programs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM subject (e.g., Software Engineering or a related field)
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Experience with C or C++ programming
• U.S. citizenship is required for work authorization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
• Experience in process control
• Proficiency in Linux operating systems
