About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop in-house Data Acquisition Systems (DAS) and Universal Monitor and Control Systems (UMACS)
- Interface UMACS with external devices, including in-house data systems and Allen-Bradley PLCs
- Provide technical support for Gas Turbine and Component Test Stands
- Apply technical principles and theories to develop solutions for complex testing problems
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment
- Represent the company to external stakeholders as a technical authority for test programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM subject (e.g., Software Engineering or a related field)
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Experience with C or C++ programming
- U.S. citizenship is required for work authorization
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
- Experience in process control
- Proficiency in Linux operating systems
