Test and Evaluation Lab Tech

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, conduct, and documentation of tests on products, systems, components, and materials
• Maintain, modernize, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in aircraft integration ground labs and flying test beds
• Perform routine procurement, fabrication, and assembly of components, test fixtures, and test systems
• Facilitate systems integration, including pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post-test tear-down
• Monitor power and cooling for mission systems and provide expertise in the operation of specific systems under control
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and support product verification
• Conduct routine tests, analyze data, and document results

Requirements

• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance (Secret level required post-start)
• 3+ years of experience with electronic or electrical systems
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical data
• Hands-on experience with soldering
• Ability to travel up to 25% domestically, including occasional deployments onboard the Flying Test Bed
• Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 or more years of related work experience
• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
• Experience with lab or aircraft testing
• Experience with RF systems
• Experience troubleshooting avionic equipment, general electronics, or aircraft systems
• Experience troubleshooting fiber-optic cables
