Test Analyst

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze business and technical requirements to design test plans and cases
• Execute manual and automated test cases and report results
• Identify, document, and manage defects through resolution
• Coordinate with developers, project managers, and stakeholders
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide feedback
• Document testing processes and maintain QA documentation
• Ensure compliance with testing standards and best practices
• Provide regular updates on testing status, risks, and issues

Requirements

• Proven experience in software testing (functional, system, regression, and UAT)
• Ability to translate business requirements into test cases
• Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, ALM, TFS)
• Solid understanding of software development and QA methodologies
• Familiarity with SQL and basic database queries
• Understanding of Agile and traditional SDLC environments
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Test Analyst or similar role
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Exposure to API testing tools and techniques

This is a client-facing contract position requiring regular onsite presence at locations in Cincinnati, OH and Kentucky.
