About the role

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate new business and manage existing clientele through a consultative sales approach
  • Proactively network, cold call, and engage with multiple contacts, including executive-level leadership
  • Represent professional services and technology partner products to articulate value propositions
  • Maintain industry relationships through organizations such as ISSA and ISACA
  • Work closely with vendor partners to understand technology and partner pricing models
  • Accurately maintain sales forecasts and manage territory planning
  • Drive demand generation through customized marketing execution and market research
  • Identify and execute cross-sell initiatives within managed accounts

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 2 years of professional sales experience
  • 1+ years of experience in technology or information systems technical solution sales
  • Proven history of exceeding annual sales goals of $2.5M or greater
  • Direct experience in the infrastructure and security technology space
  • Proficiency with CRM systems for managing meetings, contacts, and forecasts
  • Experience in technical writing and proposal development

Preferred Qualifications

  • Vendor-related networking or security sales certifications (e.g., HPE/Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper, F5)
  • Experience positioning statements of work, professional services, and security/network assessments
