About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and expand market share for the accessories portfolio across the Northeastern US territory.
- Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, contractors, engineering firms, utilities, and end users.
- Deliver customer presentations, product demonstrations, and technical sales support both virtually and in person.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customer-focused technical and commercial solutions.
- Utilize Salesforce.com to manage opportunities, account planning, forecasting, and project tracking.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies to identify growth opportunities.
- Manage sales activities including RFQs, RFPs, quotations, and pipeline management.
- Provide accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts and business updates to leadership.
Requirements
- 2+ years of technical sales, business development, or engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Ability to travel up to 75% within the assigned territory.
- Must reside in the North East States (ranging from New Jersey to Maine).
- Proven ability to manage a territory independently in a remote environment.
- Strong analytical skills and experience managing sales performance against budgets.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in telecom, fiber optic infrastructure, conduit systems, or datacom industries.
- Knowledge of HDPE products, outside plant construction, and utility markets.
- Experience working with manufacturers' representatives and engineering firms.
