About the role
Responsibilities
- Expand and cultivate existing accounts while establishing new ones to drive sales growth
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and conduct competitive analysis
- Analyze market segments to identify opportunities for growth and development
- Strategically plan daily activities using CRM and a structured call frequency system
- Conduct sales promotions, educational meetings, and lead generation activities
- Recommend pricing changes based on market dynamics and competitive analysis
- Address customer complaints and recommend solutions to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain thorough sales records, including customer profiles and territory data
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years of proven direct sales experience
- Experience in the building products industry preferred
- Knowledge of selling windows and doors is a plus
- Understanding of dealer, distribution, and/or two-step channel segments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to travel 90% with overnight stays
