About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned territory accounts in Western New York to grow revenue
- Prospect, qualify, sell, and develop an account base for surface and siding solutions
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales support and conduct customer training
- Create proposals, execute sales strategies, and participate in trade shows
- Conduct competitive analysis and gather marketplace information
- Submit annual sales forecasts and weekly sales reports
- Resolve customer complaints and investigate problems
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3 years of proven direct sales experience, preferably in building products
- Knowledge of dealer, distribution, or two-step channel business models
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to travel heavily (75%+)
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and navigate active construction sites
