About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned territory accounts in Western New York to grow revenue
  • Prospect, qualify, sell, and develop an account base for surface and siding solutions
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support and conduct customer training
  • Create proposals, execute sales strategies, and participate in trade shows
  • Conduct competitive analysis and gather marketplace information
  • Submit annual sales forecasts and weekly sales reports
  • Resolve customer complaints and investigate problems

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3 years of proven direct sales experience, preferably in building products
  • Knowledge of dealer, distribution, or two-step channel business models
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to travel heavily (75%+)
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and navigate active construction sites
