Territory Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan covering marketing, recruiting, and sales strategies to achieve territory growth goals.
• Source, select, and onboard new Sales Manager candidates to expand the regional network.
• Provide ongoing coaching and performance reviews for District Managers to ensure they meet their objectives.
• Create and implement marketing approaches to enhance sales opportunities for District General Agents and Professional Sales Managers.
• Manage the Sales Office, including staff oversight and budget management.
• Facilitate regular meetings and conference calls to maintain team alignment and momentum.
• Report on territory activities and results to field management and the Home Office.

Requirements

• Demonstrated success in a similar sales management role within Colonial Life or a comparable company.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to build high-performing, collaborative teams.
• Ability to obtain an insurance license in the assigned territory within 45 days of hire.
• Capability to travel extensively based on the specific needs of the Phoenix territory.

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
• Advanced planning and organizational skills.
• An existing network of potential Managers, Representatives, and Broker candidates.
