About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain strong relationships with existing commercial customers while obtaining new business with shop owners.
- Oversee customer service, sales, and general operations of stores within the designated territory.
- Motivate and lead the Commercial team to achieve sales targets and increase company profitability.
- Partner with Operations management to ensure a seamless customer experience from sales call to fulfillment.
- Develop market analysis, action plans, and key customer development plans.
- Identify new market opportunities through face-to-face and telephone contact with potential customers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, loss prevention procedures, and safe driving rules.
- Address and resolve commercial customer concerns to ensure high satisfaction levels.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of experience in outside sales (automotive industry experience is a plus).
- Direct or indirect experience managing and leading people.
- Proven ability to create and execute customer development plans.
- Proficiency in analyzing sales reports and taking appropriate strategic action.
- Strong understanding of P&L statements and gross profit.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, organization, and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel at least 50% of the time, including some overnight stays.
