About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain strong relationships with existing Commercial customers while acquiring new business from shop owners.
- Oversee customer service, sales, and general operations of stores within the designated territory.
- Lead and motivate the Commercial team to achieve sales targets and increase company profitability.
- Partner with Operations management to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial sales call to fulfillment.
- Develop market analysis, action plans, and key customer development plans.
- Identify new market opportunities through face-to-face and telephone contact with potential customers.
- Resolve commercial customer concerns to turn complaints into positive experiences.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, loss prevention procedures, and safety practices.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of experience in outside sales.
- Experience managing and leading people (direct or indirect).
- Proven ability to create and execute customer development plans.
- Ability to analyze sales reports and take appropriate strategic action.
- Strong understanding of P&L statements and gross profit.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel at least 50%, including some overnight stays.
