About the role
Responsibilities
- Direct, communicate, and motivate execution of company goals through assigned personnel to achieve optimum sales
- Manage execution in 40-50 top accounts within Southern California, focusing on off-premise and on-premise channels
- Develop and foster relationships with Breakthru Field Sales Managers and Sales Representatives
- Execute depletion, POD, and revenue plans across independent channels and Military accounts
- Coach, train, and lead direct reports to improve skills and KPI attainment
- Manage and allocate trade expenditure, sample budgets, and T&E budgets
- Assess Area Sales Managers and distributor performance
- Build monthly, quarterly, and annual business plans by market
Requirements
- 7+ years in the beverage alcohol industry
- 5+ years of direct people management experience
- Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel for sales data analysis
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interpret statistical information and financial data
- Valid driver’s license and residency in Southern California
- Ability to travel overnight as required
- Must possess a clean, late-model, professional 4-door vehicle
