About the role
Responsibilities
- Achieve top line sales and standard margin budgets within the assigned territory
- Develop and nurture strong account relationships with distribution and end-user partners
- Identify new customer prospects and present the company's product value proposition
- Execute marketing promotions, account plans, and "sell in" and "sell through" strategies
- Provide monthly rolling sales and SKU forecasts
- Manage product training for end users on new products throughout the territory
- Coordinate and participate in major trade shows with key accounts
- Manage business activities within assigned Co-op and T&E budgets
- Provide feedback on competitive market activity to the marketing group
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in industrial tools or accessory sales with a proven track record
- Experience conducting product training within industrial and rental channels
- Proficiency in SAP/BW and the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong time and territory management skills
- Excellent planning, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to travel occasionally for overnight stays
