About the role

Responsibilities

  • Achieve top line sales and standard margin budgets within the assigned territory
  • Develop and nurture strong account relationships with distribution and end-user partners
  • Identify new customer prospects and present the company's product value proposition
  • Execute marketing promotions, account plans, and "sell in" and "sell through" strategies
  • Provide monthly rolling sales and SKU forecasts
  • Manage product training for end users on new products throughout the territory
  • Coordinate and participate in major trade shows with key accounts
  • Manage business activities within assigned Co-op and T&E budgets
  • Provide feedback on competitive market activity to the marketing group

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Sales, Marketing, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial tools or accessory sales with a proven track record
  • Experience conducting product training within industrial and rental channels
  • Proficiency in SAP/BW and the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong time and territory management skills
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to travel occasionally for overnight stays
