About the role
Responsibilities
- Achieve commercial sales and growth objectives within the assigned territory to support company goals
- Develop local business plans and strategies to identify and target retail sales opportunities
- Optimize market visibility through strategic product and Point of Sale (POS) material placement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local chains, distributors, and retail stakeholders
- Execute the 5Ps (presence, pricing, promotion, product, and personal selling) to drive consumer engagement
- Analyze territory data to identify and negotiate contracts with new retail customers
- Collaborate with the Division Manager on sales planning and product initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or comparable professional work experience
- Effective influencing, negotiation, and sales skills
- Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Ability to travel frequently and drive up to 200 miles per day
- Valid U.S. driver's license and a safe driving record
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 30 lbs and working at heights of 9-12 feet
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a marketing-focused role, specifically in sales, field marketing, or B2B
- Demonstrated success in a sales representative or territory management role
- Geographic mobility for future advancement opportunities across the United States
