Territory Manager, Ophthalmics

Responsibilities

• Achieve territory sales goals through the promotion and support of ophthalmic products to healthcare professionals.
• Lead one-on-one conversations with physicians and medical professionals to advocate for product features and advantages.
• Plan and organize speaker programs, peer-to-peer activities, and "Lunch and Learn" sessions in collaboration with the Medical team.
• Serve as a key point of contact for the Patient Benefits Program.
• Communicate market intelligence and competitor information to brand teams and management.
• Prepare and implement Strategic Business Plans and report on territory metrics and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian drug regulations (Health Canada, Innovative Medicines Canada) and company policies.
• Report any adverse events regarding company products to the pharmacovigilance department promptly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Bilingual in English and French (written and spoken).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability and commitment to travel, including occasional overnight stays.
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.

• Experience specifically within the ophthalmic field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare system processes and reimbursement mechanisms.
• Proven history of outstanding sales success and relationship building with physicians and clinical staff.
