About the Company
Halter is on a mission to enable farmers and graziers to run the most productive and sustainable operations through virtual fencing technology. Backed by Tier 1 investors, Halter provides tools that allow cattle to be managed without the need for traditional fences, dogs, or quad bikes.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business growth and execute sales strategies within the North East Saskatchewan territory
- Prospect new business through outbound lead generation, local auctions, and livestock associations
- Conduct in-field sales by visiting ranches and engaging with customers in pasture environments
- Manage existing customer accounts to ensure satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities
- Oversee the end-to-end customer onboarding and deployment process
- Gather field feedback to advocate for customer needs to the product and support teams
- Attend industry events and demonstrations to generate leads and deepen relationships
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the Canadian sales strategy
Requirements
- Proven experience in ranching or cattle operations
- Strong background in sales and customer success
- Experience in territory management, ideally within agriculture or technology
- Ability to travel frequently within the designated territory
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proactive problem-solving and collaborative mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with precision agriculture or virtual fencing technologies
- Background in agriculture technology (AgTech)
- Experience selling SaaS solutions in a B2B environment
