Territory Manager

About the Company

Halter is on a mission to enable farmers and graziers to run the most productive and sustainable operations through virtual fencing technology. Backed by Tier 1 investors, Halter provides tools that allow cattle to be managed without the need for traditional fences, dogs, or quad bikes.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business growth and execute sales strategies within the North East Saskatchewan territory
• Prospect new business through outbound lead generation, local auctions, and livestock associations
• Conduct in-field sales by visiting ranches and engaging with customers in pasture environments
• Manage existing customer accounts to ensure satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities
• Oversee the end-to-end customer onboarding and deployment process
• Gather field feedback to advocate for customer needs to the product and support teams
• Attend industry events and demonstrations to generate leads and deepen relationships
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the Canadian sales strategy

Requirements

• Proven experience in ranching or cattle operations
• Strong background in sales and customer success
• Experience in territory management, ideally within agriculture or technology
• Ability to travel frequently within the designated territory
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Proactive problem-solving and collaborative mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with precision agriculture or virtual fencing technologies
• Background in agriculture technology (AgTech)
• Experience selling SaaS solutions in a B2B environment
