About the Company

Halter is on a mission to enable farmers and graziers to run the most productive and sustainable operations through virtual fencing technology. Backed by Tier 1 investors, Halter is transforming the industry by allowing cattle to be managed without the need for traditional fences, dogs, or quad bikes.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business growth and execute sales strategies within the North West Saskatchewan territory
  • Prospect new business through outbound lead generation, local auctions, and livestock associations
  • Conduct in-field sales by visiting ranches and engaging with customers in their environment
  • Manage existing customer accounts to ensure satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities
  • Own the end-to-end customer onboarding and deployment experience
  • Gather field insights and customer feedback to advocate for product improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product and Support to resolve customer issues
  • Attend industry events and demonstrations to expand market influence

Requirements

  • Proven experience in ranching or cattle operations
  • Strong background in sales and customer success
  • Experience in territory management, ideally within agriculture or technology
  • Ability to travel frequently within the designated territory
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proactive, results-driven, and resourceful problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with precision agriculture or virtual fencing technologies
  • Background in agriculture technology (AgTech)
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions in a B2B environment
