Backed by Tier 1 investors, Halter is revolutionizing grazing by allowing cattle to move calmly and efficiently without the need for traditional fences, dogs, or quad bikes.
Responsibilities
- Prospect new business through outbound lead generation, attending cattle auctions, and engaging with livestock associations.
- Execute in-field sales by meeting customers on ranches, in pastures, or at kitchen tables.
- Expand existing customer accounts by identifying opportunities to increase the use of Halter technology.
- Manage sales pipelines and hit ambitious growth targets.
- Provide customer account management to ensure long-term satisfaction and smooth onboarding.
- Act as the primary point of contact for gathering field feedback to inform product development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and optimize US sales strategies.
- Attend industry events and demonstrations to generate leads and deepen market influence.
Requirements
- Proven experience in ranching or cattle operations.
- Strong background in sales and customer success, including negotiating value-based deals.
- Experience in territory management, ideally within agriculture or technology.
- Ability to travel frequently within the designated territory.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and results-driven attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with precision agriculture or virtual fencing technologies.
- Background in customer-facing roles within AgTech.
- Experience selling SaaS solutions in a B2B environment.
