Territory Manager

Halter is on a mission to enable farmers and graziers to run the most productive and sustainable operations through virtual fencing technology. Backed by Tier 1 investors, Halter provides tools that allow cattle to be managed without the need for traditional fences, dogs, or quad bikes.

Responsibilities

• Prospect new business through outbound lead generation, local cattle auctions, and livestock associations
• Conduct in-field sales by meeting customers on ranches, in horse saddles, or on side-by-sides
• Expand existing customer accounts by identifying opportunities to increase product adoption
• Manage sales pipelines and hit high-growth sales targets
• Maintain long-term customer relationships and ensure smooth handoffs to onboarding teams
• Own the end-to-end customer experience during product deployment and onboarding
• Gather and advocate for customer feedback to inform product development
• Collaborate with support teams to resolve customer issues quickly
• Attend industry events and demonstrations to generate leads

Requirements

• Proven experience in ranching or cattle operations
• Strong background in sales and customer success
• Experience in territory management, ideally within agriculture or technology
• Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Driven, proactive, and adaptable attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with precision agriculture or virtual fencing technologies
• Background in agriculture technology (AgTech)
• Experience selling SaaS solutions in a B2B environment
