Halter is on a mission to enable farmers and graziers to run the most productive and sustainable operations through virtual fencing technology. Backed by Tier 1 investors, Halter provides tools that allow cattle to be managed without the need for traditional fences, dogs, or quad bikes.
Responsibilities
- Prospect new business through outbound lead generation, local cattle auctions, and livestock associations
- Conduct in-field sales by meeting customers on ranches, in horse saddles, or on side-by-sides
- Expand existing customer accounts by identifying opportunities to increase product adoption
- Manage sales pipelines and hit high-growth sales targets
- Maintain long-term customer relationships and ensure smooth handoffs to onboarding teams
- Own the end-to-end customer experience during product deployment and onboarding
- Gather and advocate for customer feedback to inform product development
- Collaborate with support teams to resolve customer issues quickly
- Attend industry events and demonstrations to generate leads
Requirements
- Proven experience in ranching or cattle operations
- Strong background in sales and customer success
- Experience in territory management, ideally within agriculture or technology
- Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Driven, proactive, and adaptable attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with precision agriculture or virtual fencing technologies
- Background in agriculture technology (AgTech)
- Experience selling SaaS solutions in a B2B environment
