About the role
Responsibilities
- Prospect new business through outbound lead generation and attending local cattle auctions
- Execute in-field sales by meeting customers on ranches, in pastures, or at industry events
- Expand existing customer opportunities through upselling and relationship management
- Manage sales pipelines and hit high-growth sales targets
- Provide customer account management and ensure smooth onboarding and deployment
- Act as the primary point of contact for gathering field feedback and advocating for customer needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues
- Attend industry events like CattleCon to generate leads and deepen relationships
- Contribute to the evolution of the US sales strategy
Requirements
- Experience in ranching or cattle operations
- Proven track record in sales and customer success
- Experience in territory management
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with precision agriculture or virtual fencing technologies
- Background in agriculture technology customer-facing roles
- Experience selling B2B SaaS solutions
