About the role

Responsibilities

  • Prospect new business through outbound lead generation, local auctions, and livestock associations
  • Execute in-field sales by visiting ranches and engaging with customers in person
  • Expand existing customer accounts through upselling and relationship management
  • Manage sales pipelines and hit high-growth targets
  • Oversee customer account management and ensure smooth handoffs to onboarding teams
  • Own the end-to-end customer onboarding and deployment experience
  • Gather and advocate for field feedback to inform product development
  • Collaborate with support and product teams to resolve customer issues
  • Attend industry events and demonstrations to generate leads

Requirements

  • Experience in ranching or cattle operations
  • Proven track record in sales and customer success
  • Experience in territory management
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel frequently within the North West Alberta region

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with precision agriculture or virtual fencing technologies
  • Background in agriculture technology (AgTech)
  • Experience selling B2B SaaS solutions
