Responsibilities
- Prospect new business through outbound lead generation, local cattle auctions, and livestock associations
- Conduct in-field sales by visiting ranches and engaging with potential customers in their environment
- Expand existing customer accounts by identifying opportunities to increase product usage
- Manage sales pipelines and hit ambitious growth targets
- Maintain long-term customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and support
- Oversee the end-to-end customer onboarding and deployment experience
- Gather and advocate for field feedback to inform product development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues
- Attend industry events and demonstrations to generate leads
Requirements
- Proven experience in ranching or cattle operations
- Strong background in sales and customer success
- Experience in territory management, ideally within agriculture or technology
- Ability to travel frequently within the designated territory
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Driven, proactive, and adaptable attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with precision agriculture or virtual fencing technologies
- Background in agriculture technology (AgTech)
- Experience selling SaaS solutions in a B2B environment
