About the Company
Halter is on a mission to enable farmers and graziers to run the most productive and sustainable operations through virtual fencing technology. Backed by Tier 1 investors, Halter provides tools that allow cattle to be managed without the need for traditional fences, dogs, or quad bikes.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business growth through prospecting, outbound lead generation, and attending local cattle auctions
- Execute in-field sales by meeting customers on ranches, in pastures, or at industry events
- Manage and expand existing customer accounts to increase product adoption
- Meet and exceed high-growth sales targets through expert pipeline management
- Provide customer account management and ensure smooth handoffs to onboarding teams
- Own the end-to-end customer experience during product deployment and onboarding
- Gather and advocate for field feedback to inform product development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and optimize sales processes
Requirements
- Proven experience in ranching or cattle operations
- Strong background in sales and customer success
- Experience in territory management, ideally within agriculture or technology
- Ability to travel frequently within the South West Saskatchewan region
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proactive problem-solving and collaborative mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with precision agriculture or virtual fencing technologies
- Background in agriculture technology (AgTech)
- Experience selling SaaS solutions in a B2B environment
