Responsibilities
- Prospect new business through outbound lead generation, local cattle auctions, and livestock associations
- Execute in-field sales by engaging with customers on ranches, in pastures, or at local meetups
- Manage and expand existing customer accounts to increase product adoption
- Meet ambitious sales targets and manage a high-growth pipeline
- Oversee customer onboarding and deployment to ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation
- Act as the primary point of contact for gathering field feedback to inform product development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and optimize US sales strategy
- Attend industry events and demonstrations to generate leads and deepen relationships
Requirements
- Proven experience in ranching or cattle operations
- Strong background in sales and customer success, including negotiating value-based deals
- Experience in territory management, ideally within agriculture or technology
- Ability to travel frequently within the designated territory
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Results-driven and proactive attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with precision agriculture or virtual fencing technologies
- Background in customer-facing roles within ag-tech
- Experience selling SaaS solutions in a B2B environment
