About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive therapy adoption and grow revenue for CardioMEMS by opening new accounts and expanding existing ones.
- Build and maintain high-impact relationships with physicians, heart failure clinics, and hospital administrators.
- Deliver clinical and technical presentations to key stakeholders to drive therapy understanding and integration into clinical workflows.
- Lead pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and value-based conversations with decision-makers.
- Provide on-call technical and clinical support during procedures and offer post-operative troubleshooting.
- Execute quarterly business plans and track territory performance, pipeline activity, and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Clinical teams to implement program maturity and remote monitoring workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of direct healthcare sales experience.
- Proven track record of achieving at least 100% of quota for two consecutive years.
- Demonstrated success in opening 3–5+ net-new accounts per year.
- Strong understanding of the payor and insurance reimbursement landscape.
- Willingness to travel 60-70% within the territory, including some overnight and early/late case support.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in cardiology structural heart or heart failure.
- Experience in Cath Lab or OR workflows.
- Recent experience leading medical device or therapy launches.
- Experience operating within top MedTech organizations in competitive markets.
