About the role
Responsibilities
- Sell the entire product line to current and new accounts within the assigned geographical area
- Analyze customer needs and create tailored solutions to drive product adoption
- Execute comprehensive in-service training for products to all relevant healthcare personnel
- Plan and manage sales calls effectively to achieve territory objectives
- Inform customers of pricing, backorders, and company policies
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all products, clinical data, and competitive market activity
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and satisfactorily
- Complete and process required sales, expense, and product tracking reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of outside sales experience
- Knowledge of surgical procedures to effectively illustrate product benefits
- Basic understanding of anatomy and medical/surgical terminology
- Strong needs/analysis selling skills
- Understanding of contract administration
- Excellent listening and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Medical Device Sales experience
- Two or more years of outside sales experience or equivalency
- Demonstrated human relation and communication skills
