About the role

Responsibilities

  • Sell the entire BD/BARD Oncology product line to current and new accounts, driving adoption across oncology and interventional radiology.
  • Execute comprehensive in-service training for clinical personnel on product use and clinical benefits.
  • Manage territory and sales time effectively to maximize customer engagement and revenue growth.
  • Analyze customer needs to create tailored solutions that support improved patient outcomes and procedural efficiency.
  • Inform customers of pricing, backorders, and company policies to ensure transparency.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of products, clinical data, and oncology applications to communicate value.
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly to reinforce long-term professional relationships.
  • Complete and process required sales, expense, and product tracking reports.

Requirements

  • Product knowledge and understanding of BDPI product features and benefits.
  • Surgical and/or procedural knowledge to effectively illustrate product benefits in oncology applications.
  • Basic understanding of anatomy and medical/surgical terminology.
  • Proven consultative and needs-based selling skills.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Understanding of contract administration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of outside sales experience.
  • Previous experience in Medical Device Sales.
  • Two or more years of professional outside sales experience.
