About the role
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales quotas through the direct sale of surgical products, including hemostats, sealing, and tissue products.
- Educate physicians on the accurate use, features, and benefits of products during on-label surgical procedures.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with doctors, nurses, hospital administration, and supply chain management.
- Provide technical and administrative product demonstrations to prospective customers.
- Monitor sales against forecasts and analyze market potential and competitive landscapes within the territory.
- Collaborate with marketing and management to provide feedback on product development, pricing, and marketing programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience OR 8+ years of operating room sales experience.
- High School degree required.
- Proven experience with hospital-based selling within the operating room.
- Experience managing and leading a large sales territory.
- Ability to travel at least 50% of the time, potentially spanning several states.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, and social skills.
