About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead new account development and expand existing accounts through B2B sales of software licensing, appliances, and services
- Develop and implement specific territory account plans and opportunity plans in support of company goals and quota objectives
- Engage sales resources, including SEs, Channel partners, and Solutions Sales teams, to implement customer account plans
- Manage the full sales cycle and use CRM systems effectively for the development, management, and closure of forecasted opportunities
- Execute complex go-to-market strategies to meet or exceed sales quotas
Requirements
- Extensive and proven IT software sales experience, specifically within security software or network technologies
- Proven track record of consistent achievement against sales quotas
- Experience in relationship management and new business development
- Ability to present effectively to C-level and executive-level contacts
- Experience working with Channel partners and developing business both directly and through partners
- Proficiency with sales methodologies such as TAS or SPIN
- Strong analytical, forecasting, and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
