About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage a geographical territory and execute full sales strategy from market analysis and pipeline management to contract negotiation and customer retention
- Respond quickly to inbound leads and requests using CRM systems
- Develop new business and acquire accounts by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals
- Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and communicating new solutions
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly; conduct sales presentations to prospective and existing customers
- Develop sales strategies to increase market share and improve customer experience
- Manage and support job site activities with both remote and on-site involvement
- Assist with equipment rental, sales, and service as needed on customer sites
Requirements
- Tenacious, innovative approach with superior outside sales experience and a proven track record
- Ability to lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Heavy construction equipment or industry knowledge preferred, along with B2B sales experience
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Technical aptitude to keep pace with a growing company and evolving product offerings
- Competitive, self-motivated, and results-driven with a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to manage strategic and national accounts
