About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage territory sales strategy including market analysis, forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue growth
- Respond to inbound leads and manage opportunities through CRM systems
- Develop new business and acquire accounts by building relationships with contractors and construction principals
- Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Conduct sales presentations and resolve customer inquiries and requests
- Develop strategies to increase market share and improve customer experience
- Support job site activities with remote and on-site involvement
- Assist with equipment rental, sales, and service as needed
Requirements
- Proven outside sales track record and superior sales skills
- B2B sales experience preferred
- Heavy construction equipment or rental industry knowledge preferred
- Ability to lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Technical aptitude to adapt to the fast pace of a growing company
- Competitive, self-motivated, and results-driven with a team orientation
- Ability to manage strategic and national accounts
