About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage a geographical territory including market analysis, sales forecasting, and pipeline management
  • Execute full sales strategy from lead response to contract negotiation and customer retention
  • Drive new business development and client acquisition by building relationships with contractors and construction principals
  • Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure high satisfaction levels
  • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, and complaints
  • Conduct sales presentations to prospective and existing customers
  • Develop new sales strategies to increase market share
  • Support job site activities and assist with equipment rental, sales, and service when needed

Requirements

  • Proven track record in outside sales with superior sales skills
  • Ability to lift, carry, and place objects up to 50 pounds
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Technical aptitude to learn new products and services quickly
  • Competitive, self-motivated, and results-driven mindset
  • Ability to manage strategic and national accounts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Pump, Power & HVAC equipment (power generation, fluid solutions, heating & cooling)
  • Experience in rental or construction industries
  • B2B sales experience
