About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage a geographical territory including market analysis, sales forecasting, and pipeline management
- Execute full sales strategy from lead generation to contract negotiation and customer retention
- Drive new business development and client acquisition by building relationships with contractors and construction principals
- Nurture existing customer relationships to ensure high satisfaction and service levels
- Respond to inbound leads, customer inquiries, and resolve complaints promptly
- Conduct sales presentations and develop new strategies to increase market share
- Support job site activities and assist with equipment rental, sales, and service when needed
Requirements
- Proven track record in outside sales with superior sales skills
- Ability to lift, carry, and place objects up to 50 pounds
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Technical aptitude to learn new products and services quickly
- Competitive, self-motivated, and results-driven mindset
- Ability to manage strategic and national accounts
- Experience in heavy construction equipment or B2B sales is preferred but not required
