Terminal Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Manage terminal business including financial performance, operational efficiency, and safety
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, government regulations, and company policies
• Schedule safe and efficient handling of customer cargoes in coordination with Director of Operations and Traffic Manager
• Oversee facility associates and manage daily onsite operations
• Participate in training and technical education of new associates
• Manage P/L, capital expenditures, and third-party contractors
• Coordinate barge, rail, and truck flow with traffic and customer service departments
• Oversee facility maintenance and preventive maintenance scheduling
• Monitor and provide feedback on operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Requirements

• Working knowledge of loading and unloading barges, railcars, and trucks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong leadership and development skills
• Five or more years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and handle on-call hours
• Ability to lift, climb, and carry up to 50 lbs
